Things are too good. there is so so much to try to get across. Transfer calls were this week!! And so much more.
Transfers are always bittersweet. I'm going to miss Umeå hard. I love this little branch dearly, and have learned so much from the members here. I feel like I could talk individually about so many. Gunvor's fire for the Book of Mormon at age 87-- whose memory is going but still remembers the story of how she got it and read it and prayed all night to know if it was true. Maj-Lis's hugs and joy and the most melodic Swedish I've ever heard. Torbjörn's dedication to his calling, and hilarious loving quips about "gumman". Lars who faithfully came to every single lesson we asked him for. Nils who reminds me of my dad, and talked about Lord of the Rings in his talk yesterday-- case in point. Erik who would talk about choir music with me. Victoria who made everyone feel like her best friend. Karin who was so dedicated to cooking for us. Ann-Charlotte who testifies at every chance. Ingrid who is actually just our bestie. Raija who would fill our bags with fruit before we left and was the best kind of old-lady bold with our friends. So many more. I love them all so much.
Valter is doing so well. He shyly bought flowers for the couple who invited us all to dinner and I wanted to cry.
We had two powerful lessons with Lasse this week! He is starting to understand. His moment this week was "om detta är sant..... skulle jag bada ganska fort." It is wonderful to see.
Getting to play in church every week was a mission dream come true. I'm going to miss it all a lot.
Sorry not sorry for the dump.
I'm getting transferred to a city called Uppsala!! A gorgeous university city where I'll be comps with Syster Hope who I adore!! I am beyond excited.
Got to see my other bestie Stella from Kungsbacka!! This was such a tender mercy!
I love my mission. I love Sweden. I love the Book of Mormon-- I have learned Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father better through it. Har fått verkliga bönesvar.
I love you all!
