"Gubbe" -Syster Hope

Förlåt om att jag inte har orkat skriva något riktigt på några veckor.... nu ska jag försöka skriva en e-post som en vanlig människa

I have so much to say! So much has happened. Feeling happy and blessed. Nearing the end of my precious time in Kungsbacka-- I have learned and loved so much and so many here. Leaving is hard. I was a wreck on sunday-- tried to bear my testimony and quite literally wept at the pulpit and huggin everyone after.

My little paragraph of a love letter about Syster Keyser would never be enough- I love this girl dearly! She has taught me so much about how to love and make the most of when it's hard and seeing people as God sees them. I aspire to be like her in every way. She is the kind of lifelong friend everyone needs.

I am so blessed! Blessed to have people to love so much.

I am being transferred way way up north. A lovely city called Umeå! Om sanningen ska fram I am horribly excited. Replacing my Syster BOONE who I LOVE with Syster LARSON who is AMAZING and going to be buried in SNOW and MAGIC and my little girl dreams are coming true. Another university town which will be epic. I'm so so excited to be up north.

core memories of the last few weeks

- Member party hopping on Christmas eve, getting fed so much julbord and it feeling like home to be surrounded by babies. I loved this day

- Sitting and puzzling and talking with Helén and Daniel Bentham about his mission and their kids and how they met

- Helén reminding me always på så många sätt of my mom. How she makes me teary in the very best way with her hugs and how are yous

- we were gifted skohorns and cheese slicers:):)

- Early morning Christmas mass in a little old church with Louis Herrey himself

- Healing hours talking with my family on Christmas. Dreaming about life and Brig being here for midsommar!??

- White elephant with our district and someone made an action figure of The President Greg Lake...

- Seeing Pontus pass the sacrament, the best deep talks walking the streets of Gothenburg every week to institute.

- We went to the funeral of the 14 year old son of our friend Emma. Healthy and active, it was completely unexpected. She called us the night it happened. Words are inadequate to describe everything felt-- but to be able to be there for her and testify of God's perfect plan is something that solidified it all for me. All of why I'm here and what I'm trying to do

- Ann-Mari, the 90 year old queen of the Kungsbacka församling and my bestest friend, literally tearing up when I told her I was moving to her hometown up in Umeå.

- Our sweet Vietnamese friend Tu, just a language class friend for so long. Coming to institute now and "Mormons kyrka" and neatly wrapped little Christmas presents for us.

- Rock of a friend Gloire-- just met him-- came to church right away and afterwards asked if he can come out with us to talk about Jesus. "give me a tag I'll come teach with you"

- Having my favorite Kai who I helped be baptized in gubbängen call into a lesson with our friend from thailand. Hearing her testify and thinking of the moments when it was her being taught!

- Our epic friend Nasim who owns a greek restaurant feeding us on a weekly basis

- Sister Keyser putting googly eyes on just about everything I own 😁

- the quiet moments of exerting all our powers to stifle laughter while waiting for doors to open

- watching fireworks from the roof of our apartment on new years eve!

- we did get a little snow here in Kungsbacka and I have been like a puppy i got so excited

- My Bekah is engaged 😭🥲😊🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

- Élder Niño is winning Charleston north spanish land 🔥

Things are good. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves perfectly. I know Heavenly Father hears your prayers. I know my people at home pray by name for my people here and I am so grateful for that.

I love you all! I'll write next week from up north!!
