Batman goes to the temple
Hello I love you all!!
- The biggest highlight this week was saturday-- we piled on a bus with all the young adults in Gothenburg + Pontus, and drove down 5.5 hours to Copenhagen to go to the TEMPLE. I feel so blessed to have been able to attend the temple on my mission-- it is such a privilege that I know not a lot of missionaries get.
It was so special for Pontus. He was able to baptize us and several of the other people there. It was so so cool to see.
Sidenote don't tell anyone but We joke that he is batman because I'm pretty sure he is and because he's going to save all of Gothemburg by missionarying all of them and also by being batman. I'll keep you updated
- also had dinner and made pepparkakshus (gingerbread houses) with a family in the ward plus Pontus and his girlfriendđ
- Our wonderful ward has been secretly plotting for weeks to put together a huge gift advent calendar for us. They surprised us with it yesterday-- by calling us up over the pulpit after sacrament meeting and telling us they had something that they would skjutsa home for us because it was too big for our bikes. I kid you not when I say that I was fighting sobs in the chapel when they brought it out. These members are filled with so much love. Softens the moments of being apart from my family, because they have really become one for me.
So far we've opened an invite to a Lucia concert with a member and a saffranbulle shaped hand soap.
I love being a missionary. I love Sweden and getting to meet so many people. I love that the whole city of Kungsbacka is covered in Christmas lights. I love that answers to prayers are real. I love Jesus Christ and getting to celebrate Him in a sweeter way this season.
I love you all!
