Southern Comfort Zone
I'm terribly sorry for everyone who may be wanting to read these. I made a vow to my beloved mother today to be better at writing!
Brief shoutout to real ones who understand the subject line, you belong in the TNM

Two weeks in the field and simply so much has happened. Let it be known that there are far too many miracles to recount. The Lord's hand is so present in this work.
WHERE TO EVEN START. I love it all. I am in an area called Jasper, which is the furthest south in the whole mission. We cover 6 tiny towns in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama, and all the trailer parks in between. It is a DREAM! This tiny corner of the world has quickly become a big part of my heart. I can testify that everything you've ever heard about southern hospitality and the most devout Christianity is all true. Along with the strongest accents I've ever heard, and more dogs than I've seen in my entire life. I love it all. Probably the most stark cultural contrast I could have from Sweden-- a testament to me that people need the gospel everywhere! I am beyond grateful for Jasper.
SISTER NELSON! My beloved trainer. Full of so much energy and love for people and the work- I feel beyond blessed to be with her.
Some miracles from the week! I now understand what my brothers and friends and mtc teachers described to me as the most wonderful feeling in the world-- seeing people come to Jesus Christ. It was felt- so much more than I ever expected- as two of our beloved friends came to church this week. We ran out of the chapel to get them, and truly couldn't stop smiling as we walked in. Miracles! Cody and Bethany are elect.
Goodness I love the south
- Met a sweet lady who told us she practices witchcraft that "goes along with Christianity"
- Our friend Scott's horse-sized dog named Reaper owns more ties than Scott does
- There are approximately six churches within walking distance of our house, and like twelve in our town of the same population size as my high school:)
- A cop gave us pepper spray after finding out we don't carry any
- President said we could keep it

- More than once, people have started "speaking in tongues" while we pray with them
- Walked up to a jolly lady who yelled "it's the MORMONETTES!!"
I love you all and love being a missionary. To echo my precious Annie-- love you miss you glad you are mine!
